John Frusciante from the Red Hot Chili Peppers


Hearing the new album made me realize how much I missed Frusciante. Doesn't solo too much, but his playing is really melodic and trippy. We could do best riffs, though. I think "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" and "Can't Stop' are contenders there.

Starts off as just a standard bit of interplay between John and Flea and then John just takes to the heavens. One of the most "feeling"-based guitar players I know, which adds so much to his music.

I might have orgasmed listening to that.

Untitled #10 is easily the best.

I've always found it a tossup between #2, #4 and #10.

That said I think Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T Shirt is a fantastic album.

Shame Frusciante's solo albums > One Hot Minute

Except Sphere, Curtains and The Empyrean are all great albums.
