That G#5 is NOT falsetto, that's what I'm sure about. Maybe bastardish copying of JP by taking the note to that song?

That's what I thought too, but Ray compared them and said that it lands on a different note than the "Ram It Down" one...so unless we're about to get into some INCREDIBLE track-combining theory here, I think we're just gonna have to accept that it is Kai just somehow copying Rob PERFECTLY. But yeah, I don't see how it could be falsetto as long as we don't think the "Ram It Down" one is falsetto...but at the same time, there's that very suspicious range gap. I didn't even know of anything higher than D5 in full voice by him until I saw this thread!

That G#5 is by him. Kai Hansen can do a better impression of Halford's high register than Ripper or Ralf.

There's one F5 right after the first screams. "I need some help". I think they're all falsetto though.

Like I've said before, I'm not the best when it comes to guys who blur the lines between falsetto and full voice (Boals, Lambert, etc.) but that E5 sounded really full to me. Awesome note, nonethless.

Full I say.

Eb5 in "I Want Out".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eNEBI5U3q4 2:45 and 4:11

Also full.

Eb5's in "I Want Out (Live)". E5 at 4:05?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3jm8Ek6mR4

Heard a full Eb.

Eb5 in "Real World".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuKwBwYKvKs 5:29

I'd say this is as full as well. Great note.

F5 in "Land of the Free".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmW2XH_xtKQ 2:07

Also sounds full.

E5's in "Gorgar" and a long one at 3:57
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPXoDZj7YgI

Full again. Laughing

How high does this go?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrC-pAzcdrs 6:45

I'll hand this one over to someone else.

F#5's and G5's in "Victim of Changes", probably falsetto.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPcsSw0i8Qs 2:44, 6:21 and 7:08

Absolutely falsetto.

D5 and E5/F5 in "Insurrection".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et1H8I33rL0 2:21 and 2:53

Both sound full to my ears.

E5 in "Phantoms of Death".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57OdJAw8c50 2:00

I'd lean towards non-modal

I'm fully expecting Ray and Maxim to disagree with my verdicts though.

Falsetto A5 in "It's a Sin".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsfHFy30CuM 4:45

Indeed...

A full F5 in "Heal Me"?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejAJBeiBm7c 3:16

As said above, I think it's all falsetto in that part, but I could be totally wrong.

C#5 in "Empress"

Not sure about that one, but I'd say full.

Eb5 in "I Want Out".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8eNEBI5U3q4 2:45 and 4:11

Probably full.

Eb5's in "I Want Out (Live)". E5 at 4:05?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3jm8Ek6mR4

Some of them could be full. At 4:05 there's a Eb5 just a bit sharp, quite falsettish.

Eb5 in "Real World".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuKwBwYKvKs 5:29

I don't know bout the first but the final "yeah" is totally full.

F5 in "Land of the Free".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmW2XH_xtKQ 2:07

I'm getting F#5, falsetto.

E5's in "Gorgar" and a long one at 3:57
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPXoDZj7YgI

For this and 99% of Walls Of Jericho stuff I say falsetto all the way.

How high does this go?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrC-pAzcdrs 6:45

Sorry but I'll skip it too Razz

F#5's and G5's in "Victim of Changes", probably falsetto.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPcsSw0i8Qs 2:44, 6:21 and 7:08

Could be head voice Laughing

D5 and E5/F5 in "Insurrection".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et1H8I33rL0 2:21 and 2:53

If the screams at 2:53 are full, so is the Rebellion In Dreamland scream. The D5 sounded more convincing.

E5 in "Phantoms of Death".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57OdJAw8c50 2:00

Falsetto.

Of course, I'm a noob, don't take me too seriously.

Solid E2 at 0:48, great note. And a D5 in the lead vocal.

Are you sure you've got the right time-stamp? I don't hear anything head-voicey about that passage, just some really smooth mixed voice singing up to C5.
