Re: Paul McCartney
By the way, are those blood-gurgling screams around F5-G5 near the ending of "Hey Jude" falsetto or maybe non-modal? Just wonderin'.

Non-modal. Reminds me of Steven Tyler.ThePirateKing wrote:Timitzii wrote:By the way, are those blood-gurgling screams around F5-G5 near the ending of "Hey Jude" falsetto or maybe non-modal? Just wonderin'.

Hilarious falsetto at that. He manages to break on the note while already in falsetto. Well...technically "break" would be the wrong word, considering that that implies forcible changing from one register to another, but you know what I mean. He chokes off on it, then slides up to G5 or so, before getting gritty for the note that he comes down on. By FAR not another full F5, though...dear god, no...Curiosity wrote:ThePirateKing wrote:Gregsynthbootlegs wrote:ThePirateKing wrote:What note is it at 3:01?!

Awesome, this definitely backs up the A1 a little, timeline-wise.
