Yeah, no there is definitely more to it than pulling up chest.

I'm not sure if it's completely and utterly chest, but pulling up chest, I can do an Eb5 (sounds awful and kills my voice, but it's possible)... So yeah... It's not useful, but it is possible.
I go for a VERY chest heavy approach when I try to imitate the singer from Billy Talent. Pretty sure it would sound horrible if I used it in any other context though.

Might want to adjust your volume before opening this link, lol

I used to consider this approach to be 'pure chest' but it's not.

Ekhm, that's.. not so bad Grin But doesn't it hurt your voice?

It doesn't actually, oddly enough.

Danerage can you record à clip of that without the mic distortion? Sounded great btw, but very Hard to hear your vocal quality when there is so much digital ditortion. Smile

I heard he leaves his mic by the window, climbs to the top of the belltower several blocks away and sings into it from there.

You're both wrong, Kris' mic is here in my house, he sings into it from Canada.

Well space is a vacuum, there's no atmosphere and so sound waves have no matter or particles to travel through. So no, that doesn't seem likely.

Exactly. It's so badass, the only other person capable of making sound in space is of course CHUCK NORRIS

Be careful though. Chuck Norris put the laughter in manslaughter.
